Here are some pictures and information about my Fully-Custom-1987-Astro.
Q:  Why do you refer to yourself as Blueastrowhiteneon?
A: Because my astro was recently painted blue, and I had StreetGlow White underbody neon's installed. My friend helped out a little with the name.

Q:  What color is the Astro in the picture to the side. And why did you choose it?
                                                                                           A:
It's a custom-mixed metallic blue by DuPont. It is also  primer-grey. I chose it because I
like blues,  also because the regular factory colors didn't impress me. I went to my
friend and he had Dupont mix me up a batch of my own blue paint. I love it!

Q:  Why did you choose to mold the body-kit into the body?
                                                                                            A:
The reason is because the body-shop guy (Ray) wanted the bodykit molded in. Why
he wanted to do that, I don't know. But, i like it like that. You don't really see many body
kits installed like that. It gives it an ultra custom look.

  Q:
If there are no handles or keyholes, how the heck do you get in?
A:  Well I had an alarm/remotestarter\door-popper kit installed when it was in the shop. You click a button and the alarm is on. Click another the
engine starts. Click the last button once the driver's door opens. Click the same button twice the passenger door opens.

Q:  What happens if you lock your keys in the van?
  A:
Well, I'm glad you asked. I didn't have the rear door handle shaved, so if I ever get locked out I can climb in the back door.

Q:  I see the words "URBAN SPEED" on the back of the van, what do they mean?
  A:
Well, URBAN SPEED is my local  "speed shop"  I got just about everything from them. They deal
mostly with imports, but they probably can find something for your domestic.

Q:  What was the van like when you bought it?
  A:
It was all stock! It was white. The rims, interior, stereo!
I bought from a small plumbing company it was heavily
used. It had those round locks on all the doors
(wouild ya' ever have known if i didn't tell ya'?)

Q: What was the first thing you did when you got it home?
  A:
I put the rims you see above on, just to get rid of the stock ones. Then i put a new headunit in!

Q:  Did you buy the van for this purpose? What caused you to do all this cool stuff?
                                                                                          A:
I had absolutely no intentions of doing this! It was just supposed to be a nice van to get from
Point A to Point B. There is no one reason why I did this. I saw The Fast and the Furious, that                                                                                          was a major reason. And, i just wanted a nicer looking van.

Q:  How much did all this cost?
                                                                                           A:
Well, i can't really say, because it's not really done, but so far about $3,000
In other words; I spent my 401k
and my wifes 401k!

Q: What are all the mods you have done?
                                                                                            A:
Here's a list:
